On a scenic winding road above Cortona perches Villa Teresa, an exquisite jewel of an estate whose stone walls, arched trellises, and crystal-blue pool are nestled seamlessly within terraced Tuscan hills. The villa's panoramic vistas of the slopes, towns, and valleys below can be marveled at throughout the grounds and home.
The grounds of this 18th-century estate feature various dining and lounge areas, a pristine terraced garden, a rustic charcoal barbecue, a shimmering fenced swimming pool, and luminous arbor walkways. At the edge of the swimming pool sits a glassed antique solarium with a long dining table, where poolside meals can be enjoyed. No matter which spot you choose on this property for relaxation, you will face spectacular, sprawling views of the hills, the valley, Lake Trasimeno, and the tall, distant mountains of Umbria.
Opening any of Villa Teresa's grand entry doors, the interior easily rivals the exterior in terms of beauty and class. On the ground floor, arched windows cast brilliant beams of sunshine on ornate common areas, bringing to light an array of brilliant antiques, exquisite furnishings, and rare art pieces. A modern kitchen is sleekly embedded within the centuries-old structure, providing a clean and inspiring place to prepare the manifold regional delicacies available in Tuscany. The second floor of Villa Teresa features four grand and luxurious bedrooms, each with its own designated full bathroom as well as striking valley views. Two of the four bedrooms are categorized as masters, with en-suite workspace areas and attached bathrooms. The Villa sets itself apart with its decorated tile and Venetian terrazzo floors.
