Villa Giorgio, located near the Etruscan city of Cortona, offers a strategic location for exploring Tuscany and Umbria. This historic stone-and-brick villa dating back to the 1500s transports guests to the rural tradition of Cortona and Tuscany. Sculpted from stone and brick, Villa Giorgia is engulfed by fields of cultivated wheat and sunflowers accented with country walkable roads perfect for a relaxing stroll or an amazing bike ride.
The exterior of the villa features a lush garden with a swimming pool, barbecue, and outdoor dining area along with an external, stone staircase that connects the property’s two floors.
Inside, the villa showcases traditional Tuscan architecture with terracotta floors, wooden beams, and classic furnishings. This large 8 bed / 8 bath home, which can accomodate up to 16 guests, was initially divided into two apartments which makes it an excellent option for those seeking both communal spaces and independent areas to enjoy the Tuscan countryside.
The large, fully-equipped kitchen and living room on the ground floor serve as a meeting place for guests to enjoy meals and each other’s company. The ground floor also includes 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, and a kitchenette.
The second floor is split into two sections, right and left. The second floor on the right has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living room with a kitchenette. The left 2nd floor encompasses 4 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a living room with a kitchenette.
The division of space, number of beds and baths, and multiple kitchenettes make Villa Giorgia an excellent choice for multiple families traveling together and in large groups.
